Connect Dropbox and Sam can find and read the files you already keep there: briefs, product photos, old campaigns. It can also tidy them into folders. Moving, sharing and deleting always wait for you to confirm first.

Connect Dropbox
- →A Dropbox account. No API keys needed.
Step 1 - Open the integrations marketplace
Select Connect your tools at the bottom of the left sidebar, above your profile. Search for Dropbox or find it under Browse Integrations.
Step 2 - Sign in and approve
Select Connect. Sam shows what it will be able to do, then sends you to Dropbox's own sign-in page. Sign in with the account you want Sam to work in and approve the access.
Step 3 - Name it and choose who can use it
Give the connection a name, choose who on your team can use it, and select Finish setup. It moves to your Connected tab.
When you connect, you may see a screen of checkboxes, and some are easy to scroll past. Sam can only do what you allow. If you untick one, the matching actions in the list above will fail with a permission error.
If Sam says it can't reach Dropbox later on, see When Sam can't reach one of your tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a file back if Sam deletes it?
Yes. Deleted files go to your Dropbox trash, and you can restore them from there. Sam also asks before it deletes anything.
Can Sam use my Dropbox images in its work?
Sam can find and open files in your Dropbox. Tell it which folder to look in so it picks the right ones.
