Connect your email platform and Sam can write to your real list — the right segment, on a schedule, with every draft held for your approval first. Here is how to add the connection, and what Sam can and cannot do with it.
- →An account with your email platform, and permission to authorise apps on it
- →Permission to grant access on that account. If someone else owns it, they will need to do this step.
Step 1 - Open the integrations marketplace
Select Connect your tools at the bottom of the left sidebar, above your profile. It is there on every page, so you never have to hunt for it.
The marketplace opens on Integrations. Give it your website and it will scan for tools you already use and list them for one-tap connecting. Underneath, Browse Integrations is the full library, filterable by category.
Step 2 - Find your email platform
Search the marketplace for the platform you use, or filter the library by Email & Marketing. The example below is Kit; ActiveCampaign, Customer.io and the others in that category work the same way.
Step 3 - Approve the access
Select Connect. Sam lists what it will be able to do first — read your data, and create or update records with your approval before anything runs. Then you sign in on your platform's own page.
Step 4 - Name it and choose who can use it
Give the connection a name, pick who on your team can use it, and choose whether it applies to this business line or all of them. Select Finish setup and it is live.
Connect the email platform before you ask for a recurring email. Sam will still write drafts without it, but it cannot send or stage them on your list until the connection exists.
- ✓Straight away, your specialists can read your list and subscribers instead of asking you to paste numbers in.
- ✓In every report, the figures come from this account rather than an estimate.
- ✓Whenever you want, you can disconnect from the same page — access stops immediately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect more than one account?
Yes. Open the integration again and choose Add Another Connection. Each connection is named separately, so give them names you will recognise later.
Who on my team can use the connection?
Whatever you chose under Access when you named it — only you, everyone on the account, or specific people. You can change it afterwards from the same screen.
How do I know it actually works?
Each connection has a Test button. A connection that still needs something shows Setup Required or Pending Auth next to its name.
