Connect Keap and Sam can work with your CRM: look up contacts, orders and subscriptions, keep contact details and notes up to date, and apply tags. If a Keap campaign of yours starts when a tag is applied, that's how Sam can set it off.

Connect Keap
- →A Keap account, and permission to authorise apps on it. Keap gives connected apps full access to your CRM, so Sam can read and change anything its actions cover.
Step 1 - Open the integrations marketplace
Select Connect your tools at the bottom of the left sidebar, above your profile. Search for Keap or find it under Browse Integrations.
Step 2 - Sign in and approve
Select Connect. Sam shows what it will be able to do, then sends you to Keap's own sign-in page. Sign in with the account you want Sam to work in and approve the access.
Step 3 - Name it and choose who can use it
Give the connection a name, choose who on your team can use it, and select Finish setup. It moves to your Connected tab.
When you connect, you may see a screen of checkboxes, and some are easy to scroll past. Sam can only do what you allow. If you untick one, the matching actions in the list above will fail with a permission error.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Sam start one of my Keap campaigns?
Yes, if the campaign starts when a tag is applied. Ask Sam to apply that tag to the contacts and Keap starts the campaign for them. Apply it to contacts who already exist: Keap may not start the campaign when the tag arrives with a brand-new contact.
Why does Keap ask for access to everything?
Keap only offers one level of access to connected apps. Sam still only does what its actions allow, and reads rather than changes things when you're asking a question.
