Step 1 - Open the integrations marketplace
Select Connect your tools at the bottom of the left sidebar, above your profile. Search for LinkedIn or find it under Browse Integrations.
Step 2 - Sign in and approve
Select Connect. Sam shows what it will be able to do, then sends you to LinkedIn's own sign-in page. Sign in with the account you want Sam to work in and approve the access.
Step 3 - Name it and choose who can use it
Give the connection a name, choose who on your team can use it, and select Finish setup. It moves to your Connected tab.
LinkedIn access expires after 60 days, so Sam will ask you to reconnect from time to time.
When you connect, you may see a screen of checkboxes, and some are easy to scroll past. Sam can only do what you allow. If you untick one, the matching actions in the list above will fail with a permission error.
If Sam says it can't reach LinkedIn later on, see When Sam can't reach one of your tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will Sam post without asking?
Publishing to LinkedIn doesn't stop for a confirmation. If you want to check a post first, ask Sam to show you the draft before it publishes. Deleting a post always asks.
Why do I have to reconnect LinkedIn?
LinkedIn ends access after 60 days. Reconnect from the same integration page when Sam asks.
Can Sam post at a set time?
Yes. Ask Sam to post at the time you want and it sets up a Sam automation that publishes then. See Pause, edit, or stop any automation.
