Connect X (Twitter)
- →The X account you want Sam to post as.
Step 1 - Open the integrations marketplace
Select Connect your tools at the bottom of the left sidebar, above your profile. Search for X (Twitter) or find it under Browse Integrations.
Step 2 - Sign in and approve
Select Connect. Sam shows what it will be able to do, then sends you to X (Twitter)'s own sign-in page. Sign in with the account you want Sam to work in and approve the access.
Step 3 - Name it and choose who can use it
Give the connection a name, choose who on your team can use it, and select Finish setup. It moves to your Connected tab.
When you connect, you may see a screen of checkboxes, and some are easy to scroll past. Sam can only do what you allow. If you untick one, the matching actions in the list above will fail with a permission error.
If Sam says it can't reach X (Twitter) later on, see When Sam can't reach one of your tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will Sam post without asking?
No. Posting, replying and quoting all stop and ask you to confirm first, and so does deleting. Liking a post doesn't ask.
Can Sam post a thread or at a set time?
Sam can reply to its own post to build a thread. For a set time, ask Sam to post then and it sets up a Sam automation that publishes it. See Pause, edit, or stop any automation.
