Connect your Facebook Page and Sam can publish text and photo posts, reply to comments, and read how your Page and each post are performing. It is separate from Meta Ads and Instagram, so you connect only the parts of Meta you use.
What Sam can look up in Facebook Pages
- Your Page's details
- Your recent posts, and the engagement on each one
- The comments on any of your posts
- Page-level impressions, engagement and followers, by day, week or 28 days

What Sam can't do in Facebook Pages yet

Connect Facebook Pages
- →A Facebook account that manages the Page you want Sam to post to.
Step 1 - Open the integrations marketplace
Select Connect your tools at the bottom of the left sidebar, above your profile. Search for Facebook Pages or find it under Browse Integrations.
Step 2 - Sign in and approve
Select Connect. Sam shows what it will be able to do, then sends you to Facebook's own sign-in page. Sign in with the account you want Sam to work in and approve the access.
Step 3 - Name it and choose who can use it
Give the connection a name, choose who on your team can use it, and select Finish setup. It moves to your Connected tab.
If you manage one Page, Sam fills it in for you. If you manage several, Sam asks you to choose: pick the Page from the Page ID dropdown under Additional Settings and select Save Settings. Each connection works with one Page. For a second Page, select Add Another Connection.
You can also connect with Use access token instead and paste a long-lived Meta access token or System User token that has Pages permissions.
When you connect, you may see a screen of checkboxes, and some are easy to scroll past. Sam can only do what you allow. If you untick one, the matching actions in the list above will fail with a permission error.
If Sam says it can't reach Facebook Pages later on, see When Sam can't reach one of your tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need Meta Ads or Instagram connected as well?
No. Facebook Pages, Meta Ads and Instagram are three separate connections, and each works without the others. Connect the ones you use: see Connect your Meta ad account and Use Instagram with Sam.
Will Sam post without asking?
Sam posts when you ask it to in the chat, and deleting a post or comment always stops and asks you to confirm first. If you want to see a post before it goes live, ask Sam to show you the draft first.
The Page I expected is not in the dropdown.
Facebook only shares the Pages you allowed during sign-in. Disconnect, connect again, and include that Page when Facebook asks which Pages Sam can access.
I connected Meta (Facebook) before the split. Do I have to redo it?
No. An existing Meta (Facebook) connection keeps working. The new Facebook Pages connection is for anyone connecting from now on, or anyone who wants Pages on its own.
