Have Sam build your growth plan

A growth plan is the thing most people mean to write and never do. The Growth Plan playbook builds you a 90-day plan from your real business data, and picks the plays it thinks will actually work for you.

What you'll need
  • →A few minutes. The playbook asks you a couple of questions rather than running blind.
  • →Your business profile filled in, so the output sounds like you rather than generic.

Step 1 - Open the playbook

Open a chat with the Sam AI and select the Playbooks tab in the panel on the right. Playbooks bundle skills, integrations and automations into a workflow you run with one click, so you are not assembling the steps yourself.

Find Growth Plan. The card tells you what it does and how many steps it runs — this one is 3 steps.

Step 2 - Run it and answer the questions

Select the card. A panel opens showing exactly what the playbook will do, step by step, before anything runs — and an Approval Required tag if it will stop and wait for you partway through. Select Run Playbook when you are happy. Sam builds a 90-day growth plan from your real business data and picks the plays most likely to pay off.

It will ask a few questions about where you are trying to get to. The more concrete the goal, the more useful the plan — a revenue number and a date beats "grow the business".

Step 3 - Review what came back

You get a 90-day plan: what to do, in what order, and why each play was chosen for your business rather than in general.

Everything it produces lands in your Workbench as well as the chat, so nothing scrolls away. Open any piece to edit it, or tell the specialist what to change in the chat and it will redo that piece rather than starting over.

Tip

Run this before the automations articles rather than after. The plan tells you which recurring work is worth setting up, so you are automating the right things.

What you end up with
  • ✓In the chat, each piece rendered so you can read it without opening anything.
  • ✓In the Workbench, the same pieces saved and editable.
  • ✓Nothing published, until you say so — a playbook produces work, it does not send it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I run it more than once?
Yes, as often as you like. Each run is separate, so you can run it again with different answers and compare.

Does it use credits?
Yes — a playbook is several steps of work, so it costs more than a single message. Track what Sam is spending for you shows what a run actually cost.

Does it use my real numbers?
Yes, whatever it can see. The more you have connected, the less it has to assume — see Connect a tool to Sam.
