Connect Trello
- →A Trello account with access to the boards you want Sam to use.
Step 1 - Get your Trello API key and token
- Go to trello.com/power-ups/admin and copy your API key.
- On the same page, select the token link and authorise the app to generate a token.
- Copy the token. Sam needs both the key and the token.
Step 2 - Open the integrations marketplace
Select Connect your tools at the bottom of the left sidebar, above your profile. Search for Trello or find it under Browse Integrations.
Step 3 - Paste it in and connect
Select Trello, paste what you copied into the fields Sam shows, and select Connect. Once it succeeds, it moves to your Connected tab.
When you connect, you may see a screen of checkboxes, and some are easy to scroll past. Sam can only do what you allow. If you untick one, the matching actions in the list above will fail with a permission error.

Yours. The token acts as the Trello account that authorised it.
Can Sam move cards between lists?
Yes. Ask Sam to move a card, for example from Doing to Done, and it updates the card for you.
