Improve an offer that isn't converting

When something is not converting, the problem is usually the offer rather than the traffic. The Offer Optimizer playbook audits what you are selling against what comparable high-earning offers do, and tells you what to change.

What you'll need
  • →A few minutes. The playbook asks you a couple of questions rather than running blind.
  • →Your business profile filled in, so the output sounds like you rather than generic.

Step 1 - Open the playbook

Open a chat with the Promotions Specialist and select the Playbooks tab in the panel on the right. Playbooks bundle skills, integrations and automations into a workflow you run with one click, so you are not assembling the steps yourself.

Find Offer Optimizer. The card tells you what it does and how many steps it runs — this one is 4 steps.

Step 2 - Run it and answer the questions

Select the card. A panel opens showing exactly what the playbook will do, step by step, before anything runs — and an Approval Required tag if it will stop and wait for you partway through. Select Run Playbook when you are happy. Your promotions expert audits your offer and pricing against what high-earning offers in your space look like.

It will ask which offer you want looked at and what you think the problem is. Answer the second one honestly — if you already suspect the price, say so, and it will pressure-test that first.

Step 3 - Review what came back

You get an assessment of the offer as it stands and specific changes to make, ordered by what is likely to move the needle most.

Everything it produces lands in your Workbench as well as the chat, so nothing scrolls away. Open any piece to edit it, or tell the specialist what to change in the chat and it will redo that piece rather than starting over.

Tip

Run this before you spend more on traffic. Sending more people to an offer that is not converting multiplies the problem rather than solving it.

What you end up with
  • ✓In the chat, each piece rendered so you can read it without opening anything.
  • ✓In the Workbench, the same pieces saved and editable.
  • ✓Nothing published, until you say so — a playbook produces work, it does not send it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I run it more than once?
Yes, as often as you like. Each run is separate, so you can run it again with different answers and compare.

Does it use credits?
Yes — a playbook is several steps of work, so it costs more than a single message. Track what Sam is spending for you shows what a run actually cost.
