Connect ManyChat
- →A ManyChat account with the page you want Sam to work with.
Step 1 - Copy your API token from ManyChat
- In your ManyChat dashboard, go to Settings > API.
- Copy your API token. Each token covers one page.
Step 2 - Open the integrations marketplace
Select Connect your tools at the bottom of the left sidebar, above your profile. Search for ManyChat or find it under Browse Integrations.
Step 3 - Paste it in and connect
Select ManyChat, paste what you copied into the fields Sam shows, and select Connect. Once it succeeds, it moves to your Connected tab.
When you connect, you may see a screen of checkboxes, and some are easy to scroll past. Sam can only do what you allow. If you untick one, the matching actions in the list above will fail with a permission error.
If Sam says it can't reach ManyChat later on, see When Sam can't reach one of your tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have more than one page in ManyChat. What do I do?
Each token covers one page, so create a token for each page and add each as a separate connection.
Why didn't a message reach someone?
Meta limits when a business can message someone who hasn't messaged recently. Outside that window, a message has to fit one of Meta's allowed message types. Starting one of your own flows is often the better route.
