Connect Submagic and Sam can add captions to your videos in any of your Submagic styles, then hand you the captioned video when it's ready.

What Sam can do in Submagic
- Caption a video from a link, in the language and style you choose

- List the videos you have captioned before. Sam can check on ones it started itself.
Connect Submagic

Step 1 - Copy your API key from Submagic
- In Submagic, open your account settings.
- Find your API key and copy it.
Step 2 - Open the integrations marketplace
Select Connect your tools at the bottom of the left sidebar, above your profile. Search for Submagic or find it under Browse Integrations.
Step 3 - Paste it in and connect
Select Submagic, paste what you copied into the fields Sam shows, and select Connect. Once it succeeds, it moves to your Connected tab.
When you connect, you may see a screen of checkboxes, and some are easy to scroll past. Sam can only do what you allow. If you untick one, the matching actions in the list above will fail with a permission error.

Does captioning use my Submagic plan?
Yes. Each video Sam captions counts towards your Submagic usage. Ask Sam to check your usage if you are close to your limit.
